The holiday season is here already and sittings are finished for the year.
It is a time for us to catch up with family and friends and to take time out to refresh for 2010.

ACTEW Corporation Managing Director Mark Sullivan announced the community-wide exemptions from Stage 3 Water Restrictions that will be introduced in coming weeks for late spring and summer.
It’s the festive season already and we will welcome in the New Year very soon. It always seems to come around so quickly.
Since my last message the ACT elections have been held and I am pleased to be able to say that I have been re elected for a 2nd term as part of a Labor Government’s 3rd term. I greatly value the trust that has been placed in me by the people in Ginninderra.
Spring is upon us and it seems such a short time since I last wrote to you all, when we were just starting to face the rigors of winter. We will all soon be walking amongst the tulips and daffodils of Floriade. This year’s theme is all about film and I hope you are able to get along to the Nightfest. Check out more details.
What a wonderful year 2008 is turning out to be. At last we have had an apology from our Federal Parliament to the Stolen Generation for past wrongs committed. I heard many people say they thought they would never live to see this day. Obviously this is only the beginning of the road to true reconciliation, but a significant beginning none the less.
